Taiko South West is a performing arts company based at Seale Hayne just outside of Newton Abbot. Taiko is a performing art originating from Japan involving big drums & choreography. At our Taiko Centre we run regular classes & workshops suitable for complete beginners right up to those who’ve been playing taiko for a while. We also have the capacity to deliver external workshops & frequently deliver exciting workshops in schools, and for anyone else who may want to give this exciting & joyful performing art a go. We also have a performing group, Tano Taiko, who love performing at local events.
